LIVERMORE FALLS – Residents of Livermore and Livermore Falls with children who will be age 4 on or before Oct. 15 may register their children to attend the SAD 36 kindergarten for 4-year-olds program in the fall.
Selection of participants will occur after the initial screening process has been completed. Participants will need to meet the criteria of the program. Criteria include looking at eligibility for Head Start as well as student scores on assessments given during the registration.
An appointment may be set by calling Livermore Elementary School secretaries at 897-3355 or stopping by the school office at any time prior to Wednesday, April 2. A registration packet is available for those wishing to complete part of the process prior to registration day activity.
The registration date is Friday, April 4. The process includes gathering of student identification information, a brief interaction between the child and a kindergarten 4 teacher, and a review of the child’s medical history.
The process takes 15 to 20 minutes. Parents are asked to bring their child’s official birth certificate, social security card and immunization record.
