Registration set
NORWAY – Registration for boys and girls ages 4 to 18 baseball, softball and tee-ball has been announced. It will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 15, at the Norway Town Office.
The times are set up to answer questions as well as register children and are for Norway residents only.

Youth supper
OXFORD – The Youth Group at Oxford Congregational Church will host a St. Patrick’s Day supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the church. Proceeds will go toward a trip to Boston.
The cost is $7 for adults; $5, children ages 5 to 12; free, under age 5. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well as tickets on sale for a raffle being drawn on April 19.
The youth will finish up the Freedom Trail as well as learn about other religions and their sites. Last spring on their Boston trip the youth were able to attend church at the Old South Meeting Hall, visit the Maporium at the Christian Science building and visit several museums, including the Natural History Museum at Harvard.

Seneca meeting
PARIS – The newly formed Seneca Club (Friends of the South Paris Library) will hold an organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Paris Public Library. Officers will be elected and plans and projects will be discussed.

Sunrise service
OXFORD – An Easter sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m. Sunday, March 23, at Grace Fellowship Church, Poplar Avenue. Breakfast and fellowship will follow. Regular Sunday service will be held at 10:15 a.m. For more information, call 674-2733 or 539-9064.
Remembering
SUMNER – Wednesday, March 19, marks the fifth anniversary of the start of the ground war in Iraq. The Maine Council of Churches invites all faith communities that have bells to ring them for five minutes at noon that day, one minute for each year, and to pray for peace and remember those who have died.
The Rev. Nancy J. Miaoulis will ring the bell at the Congregational Church, UCC, in East Sumner Village at noon in honor and recognition of women and men who defend the rights of people around the world.

WEST PARIS – The West Paris Athletic Association will hold softball and baseball registrations in the town office meeting room at the following times: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 15; 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 22. Easter egg hunt
OXFORD – The Oxford Congregational Church on King Street will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15.
