LEWISTON – The Franco-American Heritage Center has announced it has received a $5,000 donation from Bank of America.

The donation will help the center’s outreach program and give it the means to offer deserving youth and seniors the opportunity to attend functions and programs at the facility.

Whether it be to foster arts appreciation, cultural programming and/or educational events, the money will ensure that those who could not afford to participate will be able to do so.

“We have created a beautiful new Lewiston landmark and sharing it with the community is always a pleasure. Bank of America has now enabled us to serve more youth and seniors by giving them the means to attend some of our events. We are so grateful for their generosity,” said Rita Dube, center executive director.

The Bank of America Foundation is dedicated to achieving higher standards in its commitment to the area by providing support to the Franco-American Heritage Center and other organizations that have high standards in service and in improving the quality of life in their communities.
