FARMINGTON – When Tuna first arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter she seemed like a sweet, quiet, plump little kitty.
Sooner rather than later, staff discovered that she was a sweet, quiet, pregnant little kitty. She had one kitten and he has just been adopted, so now it is time for her to find her own forever home.
Even though she was a great mother, she doesn’t get along with a lot of the other cats here. She would do well with a one- or maybe two-cat household.
But Tuna would definitely do well without any dogs in her household, staff said. She loves to get brushed and rubs any leg in her vicinity.
New dogs at the shelter include a basenji/Jack Russell mix and new cats include a black and white kitten with half a tail and wearing a purple collar.
