Throughout October, Pastor Appreciation Month, the Pentecostal Kids’ Church, the Jesus Party, Lewiston, is acknowledging the dedication of area pastors, ministry leaders and church workers. The children’s ministry kicked off the month by honoring Pastor Clayton Alward, who has served for 44 years the congregation of the North Monmouth Pentecostal Church. He is also the overseer of the North American Ministerial Association. Alward was accompanied by Martin Campbell, who has taught adolescent and adult Sunday school for more than 30 years. The duo blessed the children with prayer, testimony and song. From left are Campbell, Douglas Taylor, director of the Jesus Party, and Alward.
