RUMFORD – Mt. Zircon Chapter 142 celebrated its 100th anniversary on Aug. 11 at the Masonic Hall in Rumford Corner. The 2007 Grand Family, including Worthy Grand Matron Rebecca S. Bibber and Worthy Grand Patron Brent H. Jones, and other guests attended the special open meeting.

Rumford Town Manager James G. Dorr was invited, but he was unable to attend. However, he presented the chapter with a Resolution of Appreciation from the town of Rumford, which was read by Associate Matron Stephanie Wilson.

A program was provided by Barbara Lane, past matron. Following the program, everyone had birthday cake and ice cream in the decorated dining room.
