AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a professional “Bartending and Mixology” (LMT 001-21) class from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 5 to Nov. 11. The cost is $325 and includes materials.
Students will learn the basics of bartending and mixology in operating commercial institutions. The class also includes the Maine Course, a six-hour seminar in the responsible service of alcohol.
Participants will learn the functional level that is acceptable to the Maine Liquor Commission and the Department of Human Services. The course will be taught by Larry Risko.
