Mechanics Savings Bank of Auburn is providing $2,500 in financial support for the Franco American Heritage Center’s 2007-2008 performance series. As a Patron of the Arts sponsor, the bank is underwriting the season that runs from August 2007 to May 2008. Programs will include La Soiree Canadienne, L/A’s Medieval Feast, Midcoast Symphony’s Gala and Benefit Concert, Fiddle-icious and the fourth annual Christmas Show. Founded in 2001, the center is located in the former St. Mary’s Church, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston.
