Ever think you had a nightmare, but it turns out to be real? Do you like a little fantasy? Well, then this is your kind of play! Travel with us to an alternate universe where foreign diseases appear as creatures that you have to outwit, or figure out their puzzle before you are cured of them. Like the character, Pleasant, who blocks your way with all the lies you ever told in your life, until you apologize to the person you lied to the most. Also in this world the people can tell how you’re feeling by the way you smell. You will learn that the character, Whit (Paige Weber), is trapped in another world and has to find her way home. She meets a boy named Six (Michael Cote). Six tries to help her find her way safely back to Earth, and make sure that she doesn’t die from their strange diseases or at the hands of all the weird creatures that feast on humans.

Time behaves differently in this bizarre world. The character, Piph, can travel backwards and forwards in time whenever she wants. When Whit is here she catches a disease that allows her to slow down time, just by saying so. Six has a perfect sense of time, and can guess your age to the very second. When Whit gets sucked into this world she has to avoid the evil Fishers that can suck all your time away. When Whit disappears, she is only gone for a day (that’s what she thought) but on Earth she was gone for over four months! This show plays with your mind and our sense of time.

This year we got brand new lighting equipment installed, so now we have many more options for lighting and coloring the stage. The effect is beautiful and we can see everyone’s faces! There are forty 7th and 8th grade students working in and on this production. The students get to run the show themselves; everything from the lighting and stage managing, to the actors and dancers on stage. Wait until you see the student-made gargoyle-like masks! This is a very creative show, and we want to thank all those who have helped us prepare for it. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, then come join us for this beautiful and unusual show!
