Bean supper

BRYANT POND – A baked bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Jefferson Lodge, Route 26, Main Street. It will benefit Jefferson Lodge and Tri Town Ambulance Auxiliary. Menu will include baked beans, hot dogs, chop suey, coleslaw, rolls, pie, coffee and punch. Cost for adults is $6 and $3 for children 12 and under. Take-out is available. First public supper

NORTH WATERFORD – Rev. George Frobig invites everyone to attend the first public supper of the summer season from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at the North Waterford Congregational Church Vestry, off routes 35 and 37. The all-you-can-eat supper features baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverage and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Cost for adults is $7 and $3.50 for children under 12.

Meeting moved

LOVELL – The regular selectmen’s meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 26 will be held Saturday, June 30, at 9 a.m. to discuss what action to take with regard to the Cushman Pond Dam.

Legion meeting

WEST PARIS – Ring McKeen Post 151 American Legion and Auxiliary will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, with supper to follow at 7:30 p.m.

School yard sale

OTISFIELD – The Otisfield Community School yard sale, will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, at the Otisfield Community Hall on Route 121. There will be furniture, toys, clothes, tools, house wares, books, electronics and much more. Donations wanted and can be dropped off at Community Hall on Friday, June 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hospital class

NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital announces a Safe Sitter class on safe and nurturing child care techniques as well as appropriate response to medical emergencies.
