Origami workshop

AUBURN – Origami Workshop II will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 25, at the Auburn Public Library. Sharon Hawkes will return to the TeenSpace to bring squares of paper to life by folding them into intricate designs and models. The second workshop, designed for the more experienced folder, will examine some of the more popular traditional basic folds (fish, bird and stretched bird bases), and models will be created that could populate a paper zoo or aquarium. She will also suggest ways to use origami models as jewelry, decorations or toys, and how to experiment with creating models based on the work of others.
