St. Mary’s sale
LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center’s annual garage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.
Those wishing to donate items for the sale should drop them off at the Lepage Conference Center between noon and 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 20. No appliances will be accepted.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the ongoing outreach ministry to the people of Haiti. It includes providing medicines and medical supplies, brought by the work retreat teams who go to St. Boniface Hospital in the village of Fonds des Blancs and to Fr. Marc Boisvert’s ministry to young people at Pojwe Espwa. In addition, support is also provided for a facility in Jeremie for homeless elder women sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Ste. Hyacinthe.

Grange program
POLAND – “Home Health and Hearing” will be the subject of the program at Excelsior Grange, Harris Hill, on Saturday, April 21. Jean Benson, committee chairwoman, announced that Sallie Chisholm, a licensed hearing instrument specialist, will be the speaker on personalized hearing health assessments.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and all members of the Grange and those interested in improved hearing are invited. Refreshments will be served following the program.
Lodge meeting
LISBON FALLS – Ancient York Lodge 155, AF and AM, will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 23, at the lodge on Route 196. Supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. and work in the Master Mason’s Degree will be presented at 7:30. All Master Masons are welcome.
New support group
LEWISTON – “Living Single Again,” a nondenominational, faith-based support group will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, beginning May 10, at the First Assembly of God Church, 70 Hogan Road.
Those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, either through death or divorce, and find themselves confronting life alone are invited to attend. The goal is to encourage one another on the road to recovery and beyond. For more information, call 786-2636 or 926-5291.
School reunion
FREEPORT – The fourth annual Freeport High School reunion will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30, in the Freeport High School gym. The event is free, and anyone who ever attended, taught or coached is invited. For more information, call 829-6128.
