Jessie K. Smith of Farmington and Emily E. Biliouris of Livermore were named to the dean’s list at Bates College as a result of their scholastic standing during the first semester of the 2006-2007 academic year.

To qualify for the list, a student must maintain a better than B plus average for the semester, for a minimum quality point ratio of 3.66.

Smith is a sophomore. A 2005 graduate of Mt. Blue High School, she is the daughter of Alden and Diane Smith.

Biliouris is a senior psychology major. A 2003 graduate of Livermore Falls High School, she is the daughter of William and Susan Biliouris.
