Community lunch

FARMINGTON – The community luncheon at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church on Academy Street, originally planned for March 17, was postponed due to Saturday’s storm.

The meal will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24. The menu will still include corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots and dessert. For more information, call the church at 778-2163 or 778-4608.

FARMINGTON – Pastor Susan Crane will discuss “Good Luck or Good God?” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, 110 Academy St.

Parenting classes

FARMINGTON – Parent education classes will begin on Monday, April 9, and continue for eight weeks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road. Child care will be provided. Call the Franklin County Children’s Task Force at 778-6960 for more information.

Talent show

FARMINGTON – A 4-H talent showcase will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in the Mt. Blue High School auditorium. There will be a variety of family entertainment. The public is welcome free, but donations will be accepted.

New hours

NEW SHARON – New town office hours for the town clerk and tax collector are 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
