Chapter session
LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.

Lodge to meet
AUBURN – The annual meeting of Ancient Brothers Lodge 178, AF and AM, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
A ham supper will be held preceding the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to attend.
Legion meeting
AUBURN – Weather permitting, Post 31, American Legion, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, at the Post Home, 426 Washington St.
The Auxiliary will not meet until March 12. For more information, call Bob St. Pierre at 783-2340.
Obligation night
MECHANIC FALLS – Dwinal Chapter 28, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Masonic Hall, 474 South Main St. The chapter will observe Landmarks and Obligation Night.
Members are asked to bring items to be sent to a member stationed in Iraq. The chapter is also collecting items for the animal shelter and books for local elementary school libraries. The meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. supper. All members are invited.
MS meeting
LEWISTON – The MS Support Group and Caregivers will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave. For more information, contact Andy Michaud at 784-7927 or Ron Pomerleau at 783-1863.
Breastfeeding
AUBURN – Expectant women and breastfeeding mothers are invited to a La Leche League meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are welcome. Discussion will focus on “The Advantages of Breastfeeding for Mother and Baby.”
All concerns about breastfeeding are welcome for discussion. For breastfeeding help or directions to the meeting, call the La Leche League leader at 782-6645.
Club donates
SABATTUS – The Jacques Cartier Club membership donated food goods and money for the annual Christmas basket drive. The baskets and monetary gifts were delivered by club members prior to Christmas to Sabattus residents from a list of recipients furnished by the town office.
