FARMINGTON – “Arctic Edge” Vacation Bible School, hosted by Farmington Baptist Church, July 10 to 14, was a success. The children, preschool through grade six, were scheduled for rallies, Bible studies, mission studies, crafts, snacks and outdoor games. Friday evening’s Family Night Spectacular, held on the grounds, culminated the week.

Offerings collected will be used to help build a church in Haiti. The “whiteout” collection of paper products was delivered to the local Care and Share Food Pantry.

Nancy Titus, vacation school director, was assisted by Eileen McGuire. Angie Messer, song leader, also helped with opening and closing daily rallies. Thirty-five adults volunteered to help in the program in which 56 children were enrolled.
