LEWISTON – The Parent Resource Center located at Advocates for Children is has announced a repeat of the six-week program that ran in the spring.

The sessions are designed to get the creative juices flowing. Art in the Afternoon will combine a variety of art experiences with rhythm and beats of music. The program is appropriate for children ages 18 months to 5 years.

Registration is required for each project and space is limited. Call 783-3990 to register. The program will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays at the B Street Community Center, 57 Birch St., Suite 204.

The schedule is as follows: July 11, finger paint the primary colors; July 18, “Mozart and Monet”; July 25, “Picasso Prints”; Aug. 1, papier mache; Aug. 8, texture painting and musical tunes; and Aug. 15, “Painting with Pudding.”
