FARMINGTON – Farmington town reports are available at the town office and area businesses for residents to read before the annual town meeting on Monday, March 13.
Lodge lunch
LIVERMORE FALLS – Charity Rebekah Lodge will meet Wednesday, March 8, at the home of Mildred Wright, 4 High St. A 12:30 p.m. lunch will be served by Nancy Jacobs and Wright. Following the lunch, the regular meeting will feature the observance of Schuyler Colfax’s birthday. Colfax was the founder of the Rebekah degree.
Lasagna supper
CHESTERVILLE – Chesterville Heritage Society and its volunteers will hold a lasagna supper with all the fixings prior to the town’s annual meeting. The meal will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, at the Chesterville Town Hall. Cost for adults is $5; children under 12, $2.50. “Chesterville Memories” books will also be available at $12 each. The community is welcome to attend or to stop for a takeout on their way home.
Kid’s Night Out
FARMINGTON – The UMF Rehab Club will hold a Kid’s Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 10, at UMF’s Ricker Addition. Signs and balloons will be posted to direct parents. All children must be accompanied by an adult for drop-off and pickup in order to be admitted. The children will make crafts, play games and more for $5 a child.
Library program
TURNER -The Turner Public Library will present an evening with Kelli Murdock Fortin of Murdock Country Creations from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16. Fortin will talk and demonstrate about how to “Preserve Your Family History.” The scrapbooking program will be in the Community Room of the Leavitt Institute Building.
St. Pat’s supper
FARMINGTON – The Knights of Columbus will hold the annual St. Patrick’s supper with corned beef and cabbage and all the fixings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, Middle Street. The cost will be $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit the heating assistance program in Franklin County. Takeout meals will be available. Homemakers
CHESTERVILLE – Chesterville-North Chesterville Extension Homemakers will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the Chesterville Town Office. The topic will be “Egypt.” Members are reminded to bring food, recipe and a donation for the Franklin County Animal Shelter. The public is invited. For more information, call 778-3156.
Graduation plans
LIVERMORE FALLS – Plans for the Livermore Falls Class of 2006 Project Graduation trip are under way. They plan to spend the post-graduation evening of June 10 at the Big Adventure Center in Bethel.
Many parents are assisting, and several have offered to visit businesses to solicit donations of gift certificates, books, gas cards, water, food and other prizes.

Breakfast set
RANGELEY – A Ladies Breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. Wednesday March 15, sponsored by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, at the backside of A Stone’s Throw’s building. Proceeds from the all-inclusive breakfast, for $6, will send a high school junior to Girls State at Husson College in June. All donations will be accepted.

Late fees upped
JAY – Late fees for unlicensed dogs will increase on March 28 to $25 a dog. The animal control officer will contact all individuals who have not licensed their dogs for the 2006 year.
