WATERFORD – The Rev. Anita White, pastor of the Waterford Congregational Church, will again offer a Lenten series of programs open to everyone in Waterford and area towns. The topic will be a continuation of last year’s series, “Great People of Faith.”

White, a former teacher and chaplain at Hebron Academy, will show videos and lead discussion on individuals whose lives have been based on their faiths and who can offer inspiration for behavior and choices.

There will be four programs at 7 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays in the Wilkins Community House next to the church at the foot of Plummer Hill in Waterford Village.

The dates and topics are: March 8, “Mother Teresa”; March 15, “Martin Luther”; March 22, “Mahatma Gandhi”; and March 29, “Sacred Stories: Frederick Buechner, James Carroll, Maya Angelou.” The public is invited to one or all of the free series. For details, call White at 782-3193.
