LISBON FALLS – The Androscoggin-Sagadahoc Master Gardener Volunteers will offer a seven-week series of garden-related workshops at the Extension Office starting on March 2.

Participants can attend one or all workshops. Preregistration is required; call 1-800-287-1458. Each workshop costs $5 a person.

The workshops, which will run from 6 to 8 p.m. unless otherwise indicated, are as follows:

Wednesdays, March 2, “Enhancing Wildlife Habitat in Your Yard” by Charlotte Farnum; March 9, “Plant Propagation,” Fran Zabarowski; March 16, “Tool Maintenance,” Brett Thompson, and again Saturday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Also, March 23, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., “Composting,” and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m, “Worm Composting,” Brett Thompson; March 30, “Water Gardening,” Marc Geoffroy; April 6, “Orchids,” Sharon Rahn; April 13, “Container Gardening,” Nancy Barber.
