Fair and tea

BETHEL – The annual Christmas Fair and Tea will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the West Parish Congregational Church, Church Street. The event will feature a traditional tea served by the fire, crafts, knitted items, baked goods, fair traded coffee and chocolate, greens and a cookie walk.

Elks memorial

RUMFORD – There will be a memorial service honoring all deceased members of the Rumford Elks Lodge 862 at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.

Every year on the first Sunday in December lodges across America pay homage to their deceased members. Anyone who has lost an Elk in their family is invited to attend.

Brunch will be served in the dining room following the service. Those attending are asked to use the side entrance.
