Seniors fair
LEWISTON – Lewiston Senior Citizens will hold a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, in the Seniors Activities Room, Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. Tables are available to rent for $10. For more information, call 784-2926, ext. 207.
Mingle at the fair
LEWISTON – St. Patrick’s Parish will sponsor a Christmas fair, “Mingle with the Elves,” from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Msgr. Gleason Hall. There will be raffles, baked goods, jewelry, books and knitted items. The Holiday Cafe will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Holiday event
AUGUSTA – St. Mark’s Church, 9 Summer St., will hold its annual holiday fair from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. Featured tables will include baked goods, cheese, jewelry, scarves and vintage aprons, wreaths, African ministries, books, trash and treasure, raffles and fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas items. Breakfast will be available from 8 to 10 a.m.; lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fair, supper
AUBURN – A holiday fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Odd Fellows Home of Maine, 309 Fairview Ave. A bean supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations are $5. Call Diane Treacy at 786-4616 for details.
Old-time fair
BOWDOIN – An “Old-Fashioned Christmas” fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the West Bowdoin Parish Hall. A chowder lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a food table and handmade items. Free coffee and doughnuts will be available all day. The fair is sponsored by the West Bowdoin Baptist Church.
Craft fair
BRUNSWICK – The All Officers’ Spouses” Club of the Brunswick Naval Air Station will hold a holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Brunswick High School, Maquoit Road. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit local charities.
Grange event
GREENE – Androscoggin Grange 8 will hold a Christmas craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the hall, 99 Main St. Anyone wishing to rent a table can call Janice at 946-5006 or Dell at 946-5050.
Fair, supper
LEEDS – The annual holiday sale and turkey supper will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Leeds Community Church, Church Hill Road. The roast turkey meal with all the fixings will feature homemade pies. There will be new quilts, dolls and cutlery for sale. Supper costs are $6 for adults; $3 for children ages 6 to 12; free for 5 and under.
Church event
MINOT- A fair will be held at the Minot Methodist Church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. There will be crafts of all kinds, including wood ware, knit goods, toys and baby sweaters. A lunch will be available at noon.
School fair
WALES – The second annual Oak Hill High School Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Oak Hill High School. Proceeds will benefit the classes of 2008 and 2009. For more information, contact Cathy Rioux, 375-4824 or 841-5796.
