EAST DIXFIELD – The final weekend for music at the Maine Countryfolk Music Theatre on Route 2 will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 2 to 4.
A jam session will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2. A dance will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. with Blais and Bronish (Ed Bronish and Bob Blais).
From noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, there will be a jamboree in the Valley Jam Session during the final “Country Sunday” for the summer.
There will be a special potluck meal and people are asked to bring a favorite dish to share.

Larry Bisbee, director of the project, said, “All of the music and youth music scholarships (more than $1,600) provided to the public over the past six years has been provided by dedicated and talented musicians and literally hundreds of volunteers. Individuals have been very, very generous with their support for our projects. They are to be appreciated and thanked.”
Bisbee added, “More than 150 individual musicians and songwriters have performed at the Countryfolk Music Theatre with ages ranging from 9 to 94.”
