PARIS – Ava Bradbury of South Paris was honored on the occasion of her 90th birthday at a large celebration given by her family. Approximately 70 guests attended the party to show their love and friendship.

She was born the eldest of four children to Alton and Ruth Farrar Grant on July 21, 1915. She married Francis “Buster” Bradbury on March 9, 1935. They had four daughters: Janice, Natalie, Linda and Jerrilyn. Mrs. Bradbury has 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Many cards and best wishes were received, some as far away as Tennessee and California.

The Thalien Sisters from the First Congregational Church of South Paris also honored Mrs. Bradbury in June at a dinner at the Village Inn in Auburn. She was presented a basket of flowers and cards.
