Matthew Toutain graduated from Plymouth University in Plymouth, N.H. on May 20, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. Toutain played hockey for Plymouth University and was the ECAC player of the week four times during his college hockey career. He was the player with the most assists for three of his four years and won several awards for his play making. Toutain is the son of Raymond Toutain of Lewiston and Nancy Toutain of Sabattus.
