AUBURN – The American Cancer Society’s third annual Great American Weigh In is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Weight Watchers Center, 120 Center St.

Computer meeting

AUBURN – The Lewiston-Auburn Macintosh Users Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Edward Little High School, Room 124. Up for discussion will be the Apple OS X operating system and other new items, including the iPod music player.

Art festival

AUBURN – Festival d’Art will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Great Falls School. Admission is free. Celebrating the artistic talents and cultural diversity of the Lewiston-Auburn area, the event will feature visual artists as well as musicians and performers.

Trip planned

LEWISTON – The Meadowview Park Seniors are organizing a trip to a sugar party in Lac Megantic, Canada, on Friday, April 1. Seats are available on the bus, and the cost is $30 a person, including bus transportation and meal.

The bus will stop at the Cheese Shop and the Mall at Lac Megantic.
