Lewiston had its annual Pride Assembly recently. During the assembly, students who really stick out for sportsmanship, scholarship, and citizenship, are recognized for their effort. Awards are given to 5 people on each team for those categories. The last award handed out is the “unsung hero” award.

The award is given to students who go above and beyond to help staff or other students who are struggling. They do it because it is the right thing to do and don’t expect anything out of it. It is definitely one of the greatest honors you can receive as a middle school student.
