LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, has voted to hold its membership meetings at the former Post 22 home located at 190 Bates St. Special thanks was extended to Sandra Goss, who is associated with Coastal Enterprises Inc., owners of the former Post 22 home, for allowing members to use the facilities.

The next membership meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at the former Post 22 hall. The guest speaker will be Goss, community service site supervisor, Youth Build, Lewiston.

The agenda will be as follows: membership and financial update; plans for an early bird supper for members who have paid their dues for the year 2005, deadline Oct. 31; and plans for memorial services for the terrorist attacks of the U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Lebanon and the terrorist attack on the USS Cole, services to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Veterans Memorial Park.
