LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Historical Society Archives Museum has moved from 9 Union St. to its new location at the MTM Center (former Marion T. Morse School) on School Street.
Those visiting should use the back entrance. The archives is located in rooms five and six and hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays.
Society meetings will be held in the Archives meeting room at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. The public welcome and admission is free.
The mailing address is Lisbon Historical Society Archive Museum, P.O. Box 246, Lisbon Falls, ME 04252. Dorothy J. Smith is secretary-curator of the society.
The society will hold an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the new location. Charles Plummer, a member of Lisbon Historical Society and co-writer of the book, “Androscoggin County, Maine,” will help host the special event.
