MINOT – The Minot Historical Society met on Sept. 14 at the Poland Spring Museum for lunch followed by a tour of the museum given by Elliot Levy, executive director of the Poland Spring Preservation Society.

The museum depicts the history of Poland Spring Water and the Ricker family. Levy led members through the history. Members when visited the Poland Spring Chapel.

The next meeting of the Minot Historical Society will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Minot Town Office. The program will be “Salem Witchcraft,” and the speaker will be Joe Hall.
