AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet Monday, June 21, at Governor’s Restaurant in Lewiston for the annual “Going Out to Eat” fellowship. All are to meet there at 5 p.m. A meeting will follow at 7 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St. Business will include second nomination of officers. There will also be a Walk for Visual Research, a program sponsored by the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs internationally. After the meeting the lodge will recess until September. A public supper sponsored by two Rebekah lodges and an Odd Fellows lodge, Liberty, Fidelity and Abou Ben Adhem, is being planned for Saturday, July 31, at Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Senior Citizens card party, scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, at the Multi-Purpose Center, has been rescheduled for October, date to be announced. Proceeds will benefit the seniors.
Dietitian to speak
LEWISTON – Jean Elie, administrative dietitian at Central Maine Medical Center, will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday June 22, meeting of the Central Maine Medical Center Cancer Wellness and Support Group from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Isaacson Rooms (conference rooms F and G) in the 12 High Street Medical Office Building. Elie will discuss “Principles of Good Nutrition” for people whose lives are touched by cancer. Her presentation will include information on herbs and supplements. She will also answer questions regarding the specific nutritional concerns of participants. The group is open to people living with cancer, as well as their spouses/partners, family members and caregivers. For more information, call CMMC oncology social worker Kerry Irish at 795-7118.
Yacht open house
AUBURN – The Taylor Pond Yacht Club will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at the facility off Perkins Hill Road. The event will include tours of the facilities and an opportunity for children to sign up for art, tennis, swimming and sailing lessons for the summer. Class reunion
AUBURN – The Edward Little class of 1946 will gather at noon Thursday, July 29, at Martindale Country Club for an informal luncheon and social afternoon. Those wishing to attend should contact Arlene Simons. Reservations must be made by Saturday, July 17.
