LIVERMORE – The North Livermore Baptist Church, corner of Route 4 and Crash Road, will hold a spring concert by the East Wind Gospel Quartet at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 8.

The quartet is a Maine-based Southern Gospel group founded in 1987. The quartet has performed in concerts throughout New England and Canada in churches, campgrounds, nursing homes, prisons, citizen groups, fund-raisers and other special events.

They have won many awards throughout their 17 years of ministering. The East Wind has competed in competitions in Maine and Tennessee. They have performed at the Louise Mandrel Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and have released several cassettes and CDs. Each fall the East Wind holds a musical celebration in the Auburn area.

Cemetery group

CHESTERVILLE – The annual meeting of the Chesterville Hill Cemetery Association will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at the Farmington Falls Fire Station.

School registration

RANGELEY – Kindergarten registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the Rangeley Regional School. The 15- to 20-minute appointment will include an eye and hearing exam.

Information packets have been mailed out. Those who have not received a packet can pick one up at the school office.

Parents should bring the completed packet, birth certificate and immunization records to the appointment. All records must be complete before a child enters school. For more information call the school office at 864-3311.
