JAY – Frank L. Mitchell Post 3335, VFW, attended a hoedown on April 3 in place of the traditional testimonial banquet for State VFW Commander Rosemarie Lane of Lisbon. The event was held at the Old Town VFW Post 3381. The VFW National Commander and other VFW and Auxiliary members traveled from across the country to attend the event and to speak about Lane’s service to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. There was socializing, music and dancing.

State VFW and Auxiliary Council meetings were held on April 4 at the Black Bear Inn. Some of the visiting officials spoke on veterans issues.
