MEXICO – Region 9 Learning Center will offer a SAT prep class for high school students interested in preparing for the May 1 exam from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, April 27, 28 and 29.

Instructor Greg Winchell will focus on test strategies, following test directions and will have samples of test-like questions and problems. Space is limited to 15 students. Cost will be $20. To preregister phone 364-2012.

RUMFORD – The Rumford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in the Municipal Building conference room. Bill Weston will present a continuation of the “Continental Bag Mill History” following a short meeting. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
