RUMFORD – FreshStart, an American Cancer Society smoking cessation program, is being offered at Rumford Hospital starting Monday, April 12.
The program consists of four, one-hour sessions led by Sarah Coolidge. It addresses reasons for smoking, methods and activities to help smokers quit and strategies to help them remain smoke-free. Classes also will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, April 14, 21 and 28 in room 357 at the hospital. The program is free. Call 364-7408 to register and for more information.
Cemetery meeting
MEXICO Farrington Morton Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, in the conference room of the Mexico Congregational Church (Green Church). All officers and members are requested to attend.
