AUBURN – The Auburn Art Club will have as guest speaker on Monday, Feb. 23, Maureen Clavet of Creative Memories. She will demonstrate how to collect and preserve family photos and other memorabilia.
The 2 p.m. meeting will be held at the High Street Congregational Church with Maureen Tibbetts as hostess, assisted by Amelia McMahon and Joan Libby.

AUBURN – The Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the American Legion hall, Washington Street. A bag lunch will follow the meeting. There will be a raffle table and bingo will follow the lunch.
When the members met Feb. 11 moments of silence were observed in memory of Cecile Michaud and former member Wayne Welch, both recently deceased. Seventy members were present at the session.
Trip Chairwoman Evelyn Sawin said Feb. 25 will be the final meeting to pay for the trip to Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, N.H., on March 12. Cost is $43, There are still eight to 10 seats available. Those interested in going should see Sawin at the meeting or call 998-4577 or Lee Koss, 783-6396.
Following a valentine luncheon Roy Tassinari was chosen valentine king and Patricia Donahue, valentine queen. They were crowned by the last year’s king, Irving Grant, and queen, Dorothy Larrabee, The new king received a boutonniere and box of chocolates, and the new queen a corsage and chocolates. Bingo followed the ceremony.
Tree sale
PARIS – Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is taking orders for its annual tree and shrub sale until April 1. The district also covers the Androscoggin Valley area as the Androscoggin Valley Conservation District no longer holds a sale.
Pickup date is May 1 at Crystal Spring Farm in Oxford. Call Heidi Linscott at 743-5789, ext. 3, for a copy of the flier and order form.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb. 17 were: first, Richard Allen and Peter Cummings; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; fourth, Eleanor Abrahams and Mary Leahey; fifth, Martine Begert and Jeanine Kivus; second in B, Maude Abbott and Claire Lyons; third in B, Nancy Farmer and Don Johnson.
Winners at Schooner Estates on Feb. 18 were: first, Martine Begert and David Lock; second, John Hackett and Ray Sirois; third, Nancy Lindgren and Rosemarie Goodwin; fourth, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace.
