AUBURN – The recent death of prominent local musician Tom Rowe of Schooner Fare and Turkey Hollow, has left a large chasm for members of Auburn’s First Universalist Church (Unitarian Universalist), where Rowe served as choir and music director formany years.

The community of church-goers has elected to respond by establishing the Tom Rowe Family Fund. The fund has been established to help defray medical and other expenses for the Rowe family. The church will administer the fund, and requests that donations be made payable to The Tom Rowe Family Fund, c/o P.O. Box 552, Gray, ME 04039.

The First Universalist Church (Unitarian Universalist) is located at the corner of Elm and Pleasant streets. Services are held at 10 a.m. Sundays. For more information about the fund, contact the church office at 783-0461.
