LEWISTON – Judging for this year’s Great Falls Balloon Photo Contest is completed. Linda Roman, contest chairwoman, announces the following winners:

Best of Show: Robert Morlock of Auburn.

Adult category: first, Rachel Pratt of Auburn; second, Karen Zielinski of Auburn; and third, Evelyn Lauze of Greene.

Age 18 and under: first, Stephanie Matthews of Poland; second, Stephanie Gondek of Durham; and third, Stephanie Gondek of Durham.

Honorable mentions from combined categories: Brenda Giasson of Lewiston, Rachel Pratt of Auburn and Linnea St. Pierre of Auburn.

A total of 75 photos were submitted from Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. A maximum of two photos an entrant was allowed.

Winners were awarded their ribbons Sunday, Oct. 26, at Mr. Paperback Book Store on Lisbon Street.

The public is invited to view all photo entries, which will be on display at Mr. Paperback through Nov. 16.

Non-winning photos may be picked up by owners at Camera Service Center on Lisbon Street after Nov. 16.

Winning photos will displayed during March at St. Mary’s Hospital. Anyone interested in displaying the 10 winning photos should contact Roman evenings at 782-4275.
