Barbara Hathaway creates works in several mediums and also teaches.

FARMINGTON – Art by Barbara Hathaway can be seen from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the University of Maine at Farmington Center Arts and Craft Show, South Street.

The artist works in several mediums, including watercolor, oil, pastel and sculpture. Hathaway often uses her photography for her compositions.

A recent trip to Michigan has provided inspiration for several nature landscapes with sunsets, deer and fowl.

Hathaway instructs in art at adult education programs and is teaching watercolor art at Auburn Adult Education. The beginner to semi-pro watercolor course will be offered again in the spring.
