Artisans preparing for 28th annual fair

LOVELL – The 28th annual Arts and Artisans Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the New Suncook School, Route 5. Proceeds will benefit the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library.

Taking part will be 61 artisans offering diverse works.

The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen must jury all artisans who wish to enter the fair, making it one of the largest all-juried fairs in the Greater Lakes Region as well as the Mount Washington Valley area.

There will be second-hand books, refreshments and artwork on display. Admission is free.
