C atholic Schools Week began on Monday, January 30. Catholic Schools met at Saint Peter and Paul Basilica. Schools included Saint Dominic, St. Joseph, Holy Cross, and Saint Peter Sacred Heart. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Malone.

Students from each school participated as altar servers, and readers. The First Reading was done by Katelyn St. Pierre and the General Intercession was read by Joseph Vining. The altar servers were Mary Emerson, Luke Pinard, Lee Morin, Susannah Wong, and Jacob Sicotte. The greeters were Felicia Binette, Nicole Denis, Monte Bryant, and Jonathan Caron. The Presentation of the Gifts was done by Meagan Ring, Eddie Emerson, and Aaron Stokes. The cantor for the Mass was Adam Meservier.

The Bishop’s Homily taught everybody that you need to thank God for the blessings that he has given you. Bishop Malone later visited the schools stopping in at each classroom to talk with students.
