DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met April 16 at the Dixfield American Legion Post with 125 members present. The meeting was opened by President Connie Tutlis.

Entertainment was provided by the Silver and Gold Band, Bernard Pare, Moe Melanson, Louise Parker, Ned Deroche, Fred Legere and Barry Wood. A get-well card was signed for Bernie Kilbreth.

Celebrating 55 years of marriage were Joe and Jean Nasatowicz. Observing April birthdays were Evelyn Canwell, Sandra Kerr, Connie Tutlis and Barry Wood. A baked ham dinner was prepared and served by Post No. 100. Door prize winners were Bill White and Ruperta Nichols.

New members are Sandra Skillin, Elaine Hutchinson, Beverly Childs, Margaret George and Raylene Richard.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21, with a potluck dinner at noon, followed by a Chinese auction and nickel beano. Anyone interested in trips sponsored by the Neighborly Seniors is asked to call Connie at 364-4189. Membership is open to anyone age 50 and over. New members are welcome.
