RUMFORD – Witness Gordon Crockett dropped off Larry G. Smith at his residence Dec. 8 but did not observe an officer seizing animals. An article on Tuesday’s B1 of the River Valley edition also incorrectly reported that Crockett had seen a horse twitch at the time of the shooting.
