PARIS – People charged with crimes ranging from arson and burglary to sexual assaults entered not guilty pleas at their arraignments Wednesday in Oxford County Superior Court.

Jessica Gill, 20, of Ada Avenue in Peru, pleaded not guilty to arson, 31 counts of burglary, 29 counts of theft, 23 counts of criminal mischief, seven counts of aggravated criminal mischief, burglary of a motor vehicle, and possession of burglary tools.

Gill, along with Shawn A. Arsenault, 20, of Sicotte Road in Peru; Nicholas D. Haskell, 22, of High Street in Peru; K.C. Moro, 21, of Rollins Ridge Road in Dixfield; and Matthew Mosciollo, 21, of Golden Ridge Road in Canton, face a combined total of 311 criminal charges related to the vandalism and burglary of properties in Byron, Sumner, Woodstock, Canton and Peru in June and July 2008. A camp was burned to the ground.

Defense attorney Peter Rodway asked that Gill be allowed greater contact with Arsenault, who is her fiance. Justice Roland Cole denied the request.

Gregory Kenneth Turner, 46, of Waterford Road in Waterford, pleaded not guilty to three counts of gross sexual assault, one count of attempted gross sexual assault, aggravated furnishing of cocaine, and unlawful sexual contact.

Turner is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl and making her use cocaine in December 2007.

John Michael Wallace Jr., 28, of Cottage Street in Norway, pleaded not guilty to criminal threatening and assault. Wallace is accused of assaulting his girlfriend and threatening her father with a knife in October.

Tom Elliot Hardy, 38, of Notch Road in Hiram, pleaded not guilty to gross sexual assault and domestic assault. Hardy is accused of raping a 37-year-old woman in November.
