NORWAY – Two people were hospitalized Saturday night following a serious motorcycle accident at 6:36 p.m. on Thomas Hill Road off Route 117.
According to investigating officer Holli Pullen of the Norway Police Department, the driver of the bike, a man, was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Central Maine Medical Center, where he remained in serious condition late Saturday.
Police declined to release the name of driver, or his female passenger, who was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway with undisclosed injuries.
According to Pullen, there were skid marks at the scene before the motorcycle, possibly airborne, crashed into a tree.
The accident remains under investigation.
