POLAND – The Western Maine Chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine will host May’s rescheduled dedication and tour of the Davis Family Forest at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 16.

The dedication that was rained out in May will be followed by a workshop on vernal pools. Judy Walker, assistant wildlife biologist for the state Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will lead.

To get to the Davis family lot travel on Route 26 to Poland, turn onto Aggregate Road by the town garage and fire station. Turn right on Plains Road and then turn left on Cobb Road.
