Sen. Garrett Mason was born and raised in Androscoggin County. He was twice elected Senate majority leader by his peers. He has shown the leadership to reform the welfare system; sponsored the landmark charter school legislation; fought for the largest tax cut in Maine history; and supported tax deductions for small businesses.

Mason has impressed me with the way he approaches problems to find a common solution. He is a young leader who brings new perspective on creating opportunities to retain the youth of Maine. He runs the family excavation business with his father and has a strong work ethic. He is ready to become Maine’s next governor.
