OXFORD – Voters with questions about a $1.9 million revote scheduled for SAD 17 will have an opportunity to be heard at a public hearing tonight.
The SAD 17 Board of Directors will hold the hearing at 7 p.m. in the forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
Voters on June 14 rejected an article that called for raising $1.9 million locally to bridge what is primarily a state funding gap. Voters did approve a $31.2 million overall budget that included the $1.9 million.
The board of directors will hold their regular meeting after the hearing, at 7:30 p.m.
A districtwide vote on the $1.9 million is scheduled for July 26.
