There will be a meeting to promote Howard Dean at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Fare Share Commons, Norway, and meetings at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 and 6 to promote John Kerry at Mike Brodrerick’s home in Bethel.

Participation in the Feb. 8 caucus meetings is open to any Democrat, unenrolled or independent voter, or anyone not registered to vote.

There will be voter registration and enrollment at the caucus site 30 minutes prior to the start of the caucus.

The deadline for individuals to change party has passed.

Absentee ballots for the caucuses may be obtained by calling 622-6233 or online at www.mainedems.org.

A pre-caucus pizza party is planned at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Mexico town hall for Democrats, with U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud attending.
