Christmas for Teens provides gifts for teens who meet economic requirements.

OXFORD – A silent auction is planned Dec. 6 at The Candle Place to benefit Christmas for Teens.

The one day event, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., will feature a collector doll, “Victoria’s Mother,” a buyer’s choice, limited edition event. Bids will be displayed in the store throughout the day.

Bids will also be accepted by phone at 743-8149 or by mail at the store, at 1447 Main St., Route 26. Bids must be in by 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6.

Christmas for Teens provides gifts for teens who are between 13 and 18 years old and are full-time students at Oxford Hills Middle School or Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The teens, who also can be homeless teens, must meet economic requirements as well.
